The answer? We created a science-backed experience with our client Virgin Atlantic to capture the excitement and energy of heading off on holiday – all with the magic of red light therapy.
The giant plane-inspired activation landed on London’s Southbank and gave passers-by the opportunity to enjoy all the emotional and physiological benefits of red light therapy akin to a holiday glow up. With a 10-minute exposure in the wavelengths in the range of 630 to 700 nanometers set to boost mood, enhance circulation and promote good sleep quality.
The red-light therapy was also accompanied by the energising hum of a jet engine, which surprisingly almost a quarter (22%) identified as the pre-holiday sound that gets them the most excited.
That’s not all, the experience was complete with all the little touches you would find onboard, from the iconic crew welcoming you onboard to the Clubhouse-inspired bar area to the pre flight snacks and drinks.
For those not able to indulge at the Red Spirit Retreat, infra-red therapy treatments will be available from today in select Virgin Atlantic Holidays stores in Merry Hill, Trafford Centre, Bluewater, Meadowhall, Lakeside, Liverpool and Chelmsford so make sure you drop in for the holiday energy boost.
