Valentine’s Day has become increasingly beige. Over commercialised, overly scripted and for many, the ultimate anti-climax. With Brits craving more meaningful indulgence and turning to food and audio escapism for pleasure, Gü spotted an opportunity to reframe the day.

Enter Saucy Stories, a bold, sensual audio series designed to transform dessert into a multi-sensory experience.

Bridging the growing appetite for immersive sound with the nation’s love of indulgent food, Gü paired its most decadent desserts with sultry storytelling, inviting people to slow down, switch off distractions and indulge with intention.

Millennial heartthrob Mark Wright narrated four immersive tracks, guiding listeners through Gü’s gooiest and ooziest creations, including Chocolate Melting Middle, Zillionaire Cheesecake, Salted Pistachio Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. We helped dessert lovers find the “Wright” way to indulge.

Supported food psychologist Professor Charles Spence, the series was scientifically designed to intensify flavour and boost pleasure, using sound to enhance richness, creaminess and overall sensory satisfaction.

The campaign lived across PR, social and owned channels, creating a highly shareable Valentine’s moment that rejected forced romance in favour of unapologetic pleasure, bringing Gü’s new brand platform, When You’re Done Being Good, Be Gü, to life.
