We’re delighted that we’ve been appointed by palliative and end-of-life care and bereavement support charity Sue Ryder, following a four-way pitch.
We’ll be working with the charity’s national and regional teams to increase understanding of its aim to transform the experience of everyone facing death, dying, or grief. It feels like a gift to help shine a light on Sue Ryder’s incredible role in communities across the country.
Ultimately, our always-on press office and stand-alone campaigns will aim to help people feel more confident about initiating and participating in conversations about death – because, let’s face it, it’s a sad but essential part of life.
This vital charity will join our growing portfolio of third sector clients which includes Guide Dogs, Royal Voluntary Service, Blue Light Card Foundation, Comfort Cases and Innocent’s The Big Knit with Age UK.
Ash Balachandran, Head of National PR and Celebrity at Sue Ryder, said: “Around 90% of people in the UK will need palliative and end-of-life care, but one in four don’t get that care. In addition, 88% of people feel alone in grief. We’re looking forward to Tin Man raising the profile of our work, to help make sure no one faces death or grief alone.”
