GUMTREE AND TIN MAN ENCOURAGE BRITS TO JOIN A CONSUMPTION REBELLION

 

This Earth Day, Gumtree is calling on Brits to join its Consumption Rebellion and pledge to boycott brand new where possible for the sake of the planet.  

 Our latest campaign for circular economy platform Gumtree is one we’re particularly proud of. The fully integrated campaign entitled Consumption Rebellion, was unveiled via OOH guerrilla style fly posters designed and copywritten by Tin Man’s in-house art department Tin Studio. 

 The posters have been put up all around London ahead of the Extinction Rebellion march starting on 21st April, to rally the nation and illustrate the role shopping second hand can have in fighting climate change.  

 Alongside this an earned media campaign investigating the carbon cost of new vs. second-hand   homeware   purchases and a research story showing how 53% of Brits don’t realise the negative impact fast homeware purchases have on the environment has been released to the media. We’ve also been busy working on an influencer programme including   second-hand   advocate Miquita Oliver.
