TIN MAN LAUNCHES 'SILENT THANK YOU' CAMPAIGN FOR ANTHONY NOLAN

We're delighted and proud to launch our first campaign for new client, leading blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, today.

We've partnered with world-renowned photographer Rankin to create a powerful and emotive campaign entitled ‘The Silent Thank You’.

Every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is told they have blood cancer. Anthony Nolan finds lifesaving matches for people who need a stem cell transplant. To drive awareness for the cause, The Silent Thank You’ shows that when it comes to life’s big moments, we can struggle to find the words to express our gratitude. Our two-minute film and compelling still images capture six ‘storytellers’ struggling to thank the people who have quite literally saved their lives with stem cell transplants. In his characteristic style, Rankin casts dialogue aside and leads with the raw and genuine communication of body language.

The campaign is designed to help the charity increase donor registrations and build awareness of its work.

Mandy Sharp, founder of Tin Man, said: “Anthony Nolan is a fantastic charity carrying out truly lifesaving work every day.  Our agency mantra of ‘communications with heart’ was never more prominent than when tackling this brief.  We are both humbled by and proud of the powerful and emotive content that has been created thanks to the involvement of our inspiring donor recipients and Rankin. We hope it will encourage more registrations and help bring the amazing work the charity does to life.”

Rankin said: “We’ve all experienced moments when we’ve been lost for words – generally in times of extreme emotion. I feel privileged to have shared some of the recipients’ amazing journeys of hope and recovery, made possible by the selfless act of someone who has never met, nor may ever meet, them.  Can you even begin to imagine what you would say if, and when, you met the person responsible for giving you a second chance at life?”
