TACKLING TABOOS WITH T-SHIRTS

Today Tin Man launched the second phase of “I’m On” – the campaign to remove the stigma around periods, for Pink Parcel.

This latest stage of the campaign saw transgender model Kenny Jones join other fashion influencers such as Pandora Sykes, and Dolly Alderton from famed Podcast High Low, launch a range of t-shirts designed by top British fashion designers. Each t-shirt features one of six empowering slogans such as “I’m on a roll”, I’m On it. Period’, I’m on Cloud 9 and turns the traditional ‘girl code’ for periods into inspiring and perception-busting statements.

To coincide with the launch, Tin Man released new research to reveal 34% of Brits still consider periods to be a taboo subject, with 50% never discussing periods with their partner.

Part of the campaign was designed to support Bloody Good Period, which donates menstrual products to asylum seekers and refugees and helps to tackle period poverty.
