As ‘pumpkin pressure’ sweeps the nation in the lead up to Halloween, we worked with Tesco to help households get spooky-season ready without the time, stress, or cost pressure of pumpkin carving.
Enter Tesco Pre-Carved Pumpkins. Offering a convenient alternative to carving from scratch, shoppers can pick up free, ready to display, pumpkins from selected Tesco stores across the UK, with designs ranging from traditional jack-o’-lanterns to a reimagining of the iconic Eclipse moment.
Research uncovering the nation’s pumpkin-carving habits supported the activation, finding that 36% of Brits would welcome some help with the task, while 28% feel the pressure to create a pumpkin they’re proud to display.
To celebrate the launch, we also brought some of 2026’s biggest moments to life with specially carved ‘2026 Moment Pumpkins’, inspired by everything from the solar eclipse and Bayeux Tapestry to the summer’s biggest football tournament and Artemis II.
And for those keen to create their own Halloween masterpiece, Tesco has also made a free Eclipse carving stencil available to download from its website.
