This week we launched the UK’s first ever pub quiz where reaching for your smartphone was the opposite of cheating.

Hosted by Roman Kemp, our quiz with a difference saw trivia meet tech IRL, with phones and AI essential to help find the correct answer.

Held in London with Roman Kemp at the helm, punters partnered with a new type of teammate – Google Pixel 10 – harnessing its Gemini Live video functionality on Vodafone’s fast, reliable network as the ultimate quiz companion.

Racing against the clock with key clues delivered via voice command, participants used Gemini to help access the essential information needed before putting their trivia skills to the test to complete the answer.
