Smart Energy GB create Little Acts of Love Guide for Valentine’s

This Valentine’s Day, Smart Energy GB has uncovered a sweet truth: it’s the little things that count the most to loved-up Brits. New research highlighted that 87% of Brits value small, everyday gestures like hugs, home-cooked meals, or walks together, over traditional grand displays such as roses or expensive dinners.

To bring this insight to life, we partnered with Race Across the World 2025 runners-up Molly Rainford and Tyler West, alongside relationship expert Vicki Pavitt. Together, they showed how everyday household actions, like cooking a meal, managing bills, or monitoring energy use with a smart meter can be meaningful gestures of love.

We also brought Vicki Pavitt’s advice together in a Little Acts of Love Guide, helping couples turn routine household tasks into thoughtful gestures that truly resonate.

The campaign highlights love isn’t just for special occasions. Everyday practical actions, sharing chores, staying on top of household energy is what makes partners feel supported, appreciated, and connected.
