THE IDEA

Using all the key elements of a great birthday celebration - beer and cake - we partnered with GBBO winner and local publican Candice Brown to amplify the momentous occasion. Candice poured the first pint of a specially brewed beer ‘Lift Off 85’ before re-creating a modern version of the iconic shot of Lorraine Chase at the airport from 1979, to whom the baker bears an uncanny resemblance! To add an extra touch of sweetness, Candice baked a special show-stopper cake for the staff to enjoy
