TAKUMI PUBLISHES LARGEST EVER STUDY INTO INFLUENCER MARKETING

On behalf of our client, Takumi – a platform for connecting brands with influencers on Instagram – we’ve published the results of the largest ever study into influencer marketing practices. The results highlight a knowledge gap in the industry with 12% of marketing and PR professionals in the UK admitting they have no idea what the CAP Code is. The Advertising Standards Authority responded to the findings in our coverage in a number of outlets including PR Week, Campaign, Marketing and Marketing Week. Takumi is one of the few platforms that actively encourages and informs brands about the importance of using hashtags to signpost campaigns as paid-for content. It also continually monitors posts and will notify a campaign manager if an influencer’s post has been edited to remove the required hashtags. Takumi co-founder, Solberg Audunsson explains its position on the CAP Code guidelines in a blog post here.
