Taiwan Excellence Showcase

Tin Man were hired by the Taiwan Trade Council to raise awareness of top quality Taiwanese products to help dispel the negative ‘made in Taiwan’ perception. We needed to build affinity amongst UK consumers and drive footfall to the Taiwan Excellence Showcase at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush.

An exclusive Taiwanese-themed, media event for bloggers and journalists previewed a selection of hand-picked products and working with key influencers, including high-profile ‘techie comedian’ Tom Scott, we engaged key media sectors. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra entertained guests with their fusion of Taiwanese pop played with traditional western instruments.
Over 1500 guests visited the showcase and celebrities from the Gadget show plus numerous media and bloggers attended the preview event. The result? Nearly 50 pieces of coverage across key consumer sites and blogs creating a whopping 30m opportunities for consumers to engage with the brand.
